Crowdestor – Platform Introduction
Crowdestor is a Peer-to-Business investment platform registered in Estonia in 2017. It has gained traction in the p2p space during 2019 and 2020, growing the number of active investors up to 20 000.
Investors can choose from a broad spectrum of business projects in energy, entertainment, real estate, restaurants, forestry, agriculture, and more. The platform’s geographical scope is not limited to the Baltic States – several international projects are available, the most notable being Dystopia mobile game and the Warhunt movie. In terms of security, most of the projects revolving around property development are backed with real estate collateral, while others offer personal guarantees, pledges on stock or property rights. Given the interest rates offered, it is not surprising that the buyback guarantee is missing.
Yields can reach up to 36% per annum, and some projects offer so-called success fees that potentially increase yields even further. The average return is currently around 20% per annum. The minimum investment amount is 50 EUR. Investors are not charged any commissions, except for deals on the secondary market. It offers additional liquidity at a price of 2% of the sale.

Project descriptions provide comprehensive information about the borrower’s identity, the business idea behind the project, and the use of the raised funding. Regular updates on the course of the projects are also provided in the investor’s profile.
A community of over 20 000 investors plays an active role in platform operations.
