LendSecured – Platform Introduction
LendSecured is a Latvian P2P platform focusing on an agricultural sector, which is very important in the Baltics. LendSecured was founded in 2020 and belongs to the group owned by entrepreneurs Edgars Talums and Nikita Goncars. The group’s core business is real estate development and lending. Although LendSecured is very young, the team behind it has experience in the field since 2013.

The platform has a secondary market in its functionalities, but so far there is no autoinvest. All loans are secured with LTV below 50%, but there are no buyback guarantees. With respect to a short existence of LendSecured, information on the default rate and the resulting expected real return for investors is still lacking.
The platform highlights a fast recovery process in the event of a loan default and also has relatively ambitious plans for the future – you will find all this in their presentation, which we recommend to interested investors.
