Lendermarket

Lendermarket – Platform Introduction

Lendermarket was established in 2019 as a reaction of the Creditstar Group to the increasing popularity of P2P lending and also to the popularity of the provider as such on the Mintos platform.

The platform is very simple compared to others – you have the option to set Autoinvest set according to countries, yield and maturity. There is no grace period, pending payments or other conditions where the investor would not be remunerated. The average yield before the corona crisis was uniformly 12% per year. Later 14% became a new standard and recently interest rates peaked at 16% p.a.. All issued loans have the attribute of Buyback guarantee in case of delay over 60 days.

The platform does not have a secondary market and the liquidity of the investment is thus limited.

Omayra Roig – Head of Operations

We have recently interviewed Omayra and she took the opportunity to introduce herself:

“My academic background is in law and business administration. A few years back, I worked at Creditstar and got to know the lending side of peer-to-peer lending from within. Later on, at the beginning of 2019, I had the chance to join Lendermarket where I’ve been working since then.

I was a P2P investor before joining the company. So, having the chance to work at Lendermarket from early on has been a great experience. I like working with products that I connect with and bring value to me.”
